About

My name is Sarah Peloquin and I have served Jackson County as your District 15 Supervisor since 2022. I've sat on multiple committees over the years and see the absolutely amazing potential we have as a county grow and learn from one another.

I've made my home here with my husband and six brilliant children since 2016. I enjoy the beauty of this region of Wisconsin and hope to make it my home for many more years to come.

As a lover of history and politics, I know that a government, whether federal, state, county, or local, is only able to navigate the waters when we the people have our hands on the rudder. As a member of the community, I want to see my county thrive and reach its highest potential.

I have always run on three principles, though I have perhaps not stated them explicitly until now. These principles guide every area of my life and will continue to guide me moving forward:

1. Truth - I choose to earn the trust of my constituents by telling the truth with gentleness and respect. It is fundamental to my faith in God and also my heart for Jackson County. Our government can only work when we prove ourselves trustworthy and honest in our dealings.

2. Fiscal responsibility - Jackson County is represented by 19 Board Supervisors, who ultimately answer to our residents for how we handle YOUR money. As a fellow tax-payer, I consider long and hard how to wisely and efficiently utilize the resources and funds that we have been given stewardship over and I want to make sure that we get the most "bang for your buck" when we vote on budgets line item by line item.

3. Fidelity - I work hard to be the same person in private as well as in public. I'm a loud, opinionated woman, but I strive to hold myself to a high standard and will remain faithful to the vows I took at each swearing-in that I will uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States and The Constitution of Wisconsin, relying on my faith and fidelity to the constitution that started it all - God's Word. My vow it to Love God and Love others as I sit on the Board of Supervisors to represent my fellow citizens from every walk of life.
